Hi friends - By now many of you have heard about the awful material loss that Butch and Jill have incurred. It wasn't a house fire but the loss is very similar. All of their worldly possessions from pictures to clothing to everything that made their house a home was stolen from the moving van they so carefully packed for their long-awaited move to Arizona. This is a move they have prayed about and contemplated for a long time, and they were finally ready to take this step into the next phase of their life. Now, they not only are dealing with the normal loss of leaving a loved community but also the loss of everything they owned that would have brought familiarity to their new home. I know many of you can relate but my husband wouldn't be the man he is today without Butch as a football coach, mentor, honorary Johnson brother, friend and even groomsman in our wedding. Jill and Kendall fill our lives with such sweet love and joy and we know without a doubt they would be the first to be there if anyone they loved had this violating and frustrating loss. Insurance will of course cover some of the loss, but that won't happen overnight and they still have a big move ahead of them. While we know they would never ask for the help, we wanted to set up this page so that we, as their loved family and friends, can help make this all a little easier so they can quickly replace some of the essentials they need.
