Hi all. This is Erica Funkhouser (Buchta). Ashley, Amanda, and Tessa Buchta are cousins of mine, that I love so much as does the rest of my family. We are setting this fundraiser up in hopes of some assistance for the girls living expenses for the next couple months.As most may know, the girls lost their mom to a tragic car accident involving a semi truck in March 2015. Lisa was mostly their sole provider, and also spent most of her time taking care of her sick husband who was diagnosed with cancer. Now, not even a year later, that terrible disease took a turn for the worse and the girls' dad passed away a couple of nights ago. Ashley and Amanda are full time college students, and Tessa is a full time highschool student. Their dad had minimal life insurance and the girls have no source of income as of right now. We are just hoping for a little relief for them to not worry about living expenses while they take the next few months to grieve the loss of both of their parents.Anything will help, and thank you so much in advance.
