We are raising money to continue Bryce Olson's Sequence Me quest to advance cancer research and awareness. After a 9+ yr battle with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer, Bryce Olson passed away peacefully with family and friends by his side on July 13th, 2024 at his home in Portland OR. The standard of care treatment estimate for Bryce was 21 months, but Bryce is an outlier in life and decided to do something about it and tell his story to the world. This is a story of hope with science to back it up. You can read, watch or listen about Bryce's journey in Wired , Forbes , Freethink , the Broad Institute and many more forums and publications. We wanted to thank all of the medical practicioners for your care, guidance and energy to fight with Bryce to extend his life. We are forever grateful to you and your teams for this life extension. This gift enabled countless experiences and memories that we will cherish forever during Bryce's 9yr+ battle with cancer. During this time Bryce was a dad, husband, friend, rockstar and cancer fighter superhero. He got to see his daughter grow to be a beautiful, smart and kind 15 yr old because of your work, dedication, love and care. Thank you again for this gift. This is Marcelo Vieira, one of Bryce Olson's non-biological brothers. If you knew Bryce you may not be surprised that Bryce has a group of friends that considered him a brother and now, these friends consider each other brothers as well. All of us no matter who we are, will find ourselves or a loved one battling cancer during our lifetime. I was diagnosed with cancer at 29 yrs of age and personally have sent Bryce's messages to countless friends and family that have come across any type of cancer. You need to hear his message! Sequence Me! Please join me to continue Bryce's Sequence Me quest to advance cancer research and awareness. We are partnering with Bryces' care team at UCSD for the best use of funds to advance this cause. best, Marcelo
