Hi, my name is Tammy Lindsey. My own family has been the recipient of funds from this platform in 2018 when our 11-year-old son had cancer. I know firsthand what a relief and blessing it is to have one of many burdens made lighter during times of great turmoil! That's why I'm starting this fundraiser for some dear friends. Please allow me to introduce Bryan and Molly Moseman! They live in Central Kentucky and are raising a large family there.  Everyone who knows the Mosemanns knows they stand out as a hard-working, honest, kind and joyful family. Bryan is a well-respected contractor with a very good reputation in the community and Molly is a busy homeschooling Mom. Bryan has been battling a medical condition since November of 2024. He has a small cluster in his spine that doctors were unable to diagnose with certainty. Some believed it to be MS; others speculated cancer. Because of the location, it was impossible to perform a biopsy without risking paralysis, so the solution was to keep watch on it. During those months between imaging, Bryan experienced extreme pain and also numbness in his leg, often preventing him from working. These symptoms appeared within a week of finding out Molly was pregnant with their thirteenth child! Oh, the stress! Recently, after being referred to the Cleveland Clinic, the condition finally received a name. The diagnosis is a cavernoma which is a cluster of blood vessels in the spine. These vessels likely first bled in November when symptoms first appeared and have continued to bleed sporadically since. Meanwhile, Molly was due to deliver the baby the first week in July. On July 18th (with Molly over a week past her due date), Bryan began battling pain so severe that he prayed for God to take him home. No pain medication available at home or in the ER helped at all. After two sleepless nights for both of them, the Cleveland Clinic directed him to go to University of Louisville Hospital where he remains. A day after he left home, Molly gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, and she is now regaining strength at home with Bryan away in the hospital. It was a bittersweet time to welcome little Tirzah Joy without her Daddy present! In the hospital, Bryan lost all feeling in his lower abdomen and legs and was completely unable to move his legs for a short time. Though doctors predicted that this change would be permanent, He is moving his legs now and even walking with help from physical therapists! The goal is to wean Bryan from IV pain meds in exchange for oral medications that still manage his pain. After that, he will participate in an in-house rehab program for two weeks at the hospital working with physical therapists to regain as much mobility as possible. The ultimate goal is a very risky surgery to remove the cavernoma from the spine. Bryan and Molly prefer to have this surgery done in Arizona where specialists there have performed many similar surgeries rather than to face such risk with doctors nearby who have little experience with the surgery. This traumatic situation is further complicated by a client’s refusal to pay Bryan for completed work. The amount owed is significant. This will soon put the family in a financial strain. They have been living off of savings but those funds aren’t endless and they now have medical bills from Bryan’s hospitalizations, the baby’s birth, and the bills to come from the expected surgery—all while Bryan is unable to work. In short, I’m hoping that a community will come together to bless and support this family who is facing so many unknowns. The funds will be used for medical bills, food and utility expenses at home and to fund the trip to Arizona for the surgery. It’s difficult to say how much is needed. The family does participate in a cost-sharing ministry for medical bills, so they expect a good portion (though not all) of their medical expenses will be reimbursed. They also hope and pray that the work situation will resolve quickly and provide the money they have already earned. In the interim, I’m setting the LFEBridge goal at $25,000 to give them some room to breathe without the added concern of how bills will be paid. I would love to see these funds raised in time to send them off to Arizona free from worries of how to pay for the trip! May God bless you for coming alongside them in their need!
