During the summer/winter of 2024 Bruce would confide in friends that his gut was bothering him, the pains would come and go. Reluctant to see a doctor, hoping it would pass he dealt with it, it didn't pass but got worse. Long story short, in early March of this year Bruce underwent surgery to remove polyps and a section of his colon. After doing biopsies, the doctors concluded that Bruce had colon cancer and he started chemotherapy right away. The first month of chemo didn't seem too bad for him and he was able to continue working. Then after his third infusion things took a turn for the worse- everything hurt, he had little energy and at times Bruce couldn't keep food or drink down. After a couple of trips to the ER Bruce is home now but is unable to work. This fundraiser is being created by friends and co-workers that wish to see Bruce be able to take the time off of work needed to get himself better while not having to worry about how the bills will be paid. If you know Bruce at all you'll probably agree that he will help anyone, anytime in any way that he can, he has paid this forward for sure! Get well soon Bruce!!
