Hi everyone, my name is Sykeethia Waiters and I’m starting this fundraiser for my very good and warm-hearted friend, Brittney Jackson-Jeter for medical bills and expenses. Brittney's suffering from a very rare breast disease that's of unknown origin, that started back in January 2024 and begin her overall care of treatment under MUSC Holling's Cancer Center of Charleston as a high-risk breast cancer patient. Brittney continues to receive treatment by her care team which consists of: surgical oncology, infectious disease, rheumatology and dermatology whilst traveling 3hrs to and from for day's of treatment and/or hospitalization at times. Most recently, Brittney underwent a preventative surgical procedure in order to save both breast and is currently recovering for the next phase of treatment which may consist of medication trials, additional biopsies and a potential PICC Line placement in order to receive consistent broad-spectrum IV antibiotics. Due to Brittney being unable to work and having to take a continuous LOA back in February 2024, I felt the need to create this campaign on her behalf. At this time we're not only asking for your donations in order to provide some financial relief during this difficult time, but we're also asking for your prayer's and encouragement as well.
