Sabrina made the decision earlier this year to start a new life in Vancouver with her daughter, Tianna. Unfortunately very shortly after moving, it was discovered Sabrina had a brain tumor and needed immediate surgery. The doctor was able to remove most of it, but not all. After some testing, we received news that Sabrina had Glioblastoma - an aggressive and fatal brain cancer. The tumor had impacted the use of her left arm and leg making her immobile. Since surgery, Sabrina has remained in the hospital as she is unable to walk and requires 24/7 care. This has been very difficult for both Sabrina and our family as we want her to be in the comfort of her own home and bed while she battles this deadly disease. In order for us to make this happen, it will require extensive renovations to the suite she is living in to make it wheelchair accessible. She will also need specific medical equipment to help her accessibility around the house. In addition to these accommodations, Sabrina will require around the clock care to help with everyday things when family members can’t assist. We desperately want Sabrina home so that during the time she has left here, she can rest peacefully in the comfort of her own home, while she undergoes treatment. We want to be able to help her maintain the best mental and physical state for her so that she can live a quality life during this very scary time. Everyone that knows Brina knows that she’s a hard working mom who is extremely independent and has a difficult time asking for help. This time she needs us! Please help support us by donating to help bring Brina home!
