On Sunday, July 2,2024 around 7 Brian Owen was in a Motorcycle accident. He collided with loose gravel that was left in the road leaving him unconscious. Brian was later rushed into emergency surgery at Piedmont Henry Hospital after being found by a kind pedestrian. He had his spleen removed, internal bleeding which required 4 blood transfusions, and now has 30 staples down his abdomen. In addition, Brian has 4 broken ribs, a fractured jaw, excruciating road rash, and his eye has been swollen shut impairing his vision. The road to recovery is going to be long and hard. Doctors are talking about the possibility of transferring him to a facility to receive physical therapy when he is able. Our dear friend runs his own landscaping business as an owner/operator and will not be able to continue to earn income to provide for his family for the next several months. Brian is a beloved son who is the sole caregiver of both his parents who are disabled. His father just completed rounds of radiation for his cancer treatments. They all live together with Brian’s sons here in Henry County. He supports his eldest son who is heading into his second year at Georgia Tech, his fiancé and her two children, as well as his youngest child, a Star-Student at Union Grove Middle. It’s a big family, who he loves dearly, and they all depend on him. Come August he needs to sign a new lease on the home they have all been living in. The bills are already pulling up. These unfortunate circumstances have left Brian worried about their future. We want him to focus on his recovery and healing without the burden of financial hardships and stress. Please help us shine a light on such a dark time for this great guy who has always gone above and beyond to help others! All donations will go directly to Brian, he is the beneficiary of this page. Thank you so much for all your support! Please keep Brian in your prayers & Let’s show Brian some love!
