Hello everyone! As most of you may know my name is August and I’m an afab nonbinary individual. I’ve always struggled quite a bit with my large chest and the dysphoria it gives me. After years of hemming and hawing about it what to do about it I’ve finally decided that a breast reduction is the right choice for me! Minimizing my breasts will allow me to feel more comfortable and confident in my body, and it’ll make binding easier (on the days I choose to do so). I’ve had a consultation with Doctor Ehanire at Austin Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and after an examination I was quoted at $14,546. This includes the prices of the procedure and anesthesia, as well as aftercare for scar healing. Thankfully this isn’t due all at once, and the clinic has an interest free payment plan that’s available to me. However, in order to schedule the procedure I have to pay a down payment of at least 20%, or $2,909. The faster I’m able to save up the money for the down payment, the sooner I’ll be able to get this necessary surgery done. This is where I turn to y’all for help! Saving money is not as easy as I would hope, and a some assistance would be greatly appreciated! I’ve opted to round up to $3000 just to keep it a nice whole number. On the chance that this passes the goal amount any access money will be added to the down payment. I want to thank everyone who’s taken the time to read my spiel!
