Hi, my name Is Zachary Williams. I'm organizing this fundraiser for my wife Genevieve Williams. My wife Genevieve, Is currently In the ICU In UWHealth Hospital In Madison, Wisconsin after just having an ETV surgical procedure. This procedure Is meant to hopefully replace her Shunt, that she's needed since birth.. being disabled with both Spina Bifida, and hydrocephalus. My Wife Genevieve has spent nearly everyday of 22 years In excruciating head pain, the doctors believe the cause of this Is due to overdraining of her shunt, but up until this ETV procedure we really haven't had any options for treatment. If this procedure works, Genevieve has a good chance at being pain free, and being able to enjoy life at It's fullest. The surgery Itself was successful, and Genevieve Is currently In the ICU, and will remain there for about a week to see If the ETV Is working correctly, and her shunt can be removed. If after a week the ETV Is working, Genevieve will be discharged from the hospital, but will need to remain up In Wisconsin for a month to continue to monitor the ETV. We live In Elk Horn, Iowa, so I've had to take off work, and we both need a hotel for about a month.. so we need all the support we can get.. absolutely anything helps. We will need to raise roughly $5000 for the entire month, this money Is needed to pay for our hotel, food, gas expenses, and any medical bills. We understand this Is a lot, and again appreciate anything/everything, and can't thank everyone enough for there support.
