I am Suzy Erline , my daughter in law, Bonnie Braun is 34 years old, a mom of 3 beautiful daughters , and she was diagnosed with stage 2A, invasive ductal carcinoma, Triple positive Breast cancer. A 2.6 cm mass was found when she went to her mammogram in may , which had now grown to 3.2 cm. Eric and bonnie went to hopkins to meet with the Kimmel cancer center and to go over the details of TCHP. chemo as they want to do that first than surgery and radiation afterwards. She will be having 6 rounds of chemo every 3 weeks until November as long as all goes well, but the journey won't be ending then. Bonnie and Eric will still have a long way to go with surgeries and radiation to bring in the new year 2024 and there after. With Bonnie having kidney disease 14 years and going, hopkins team will be in close contact with her urologist as she already gets multiple kidney infections and we anticipate it get worse with her compromised immune system. We are pretty confident and positive, as its extremely treatable. I wanted to share with you all and if you can help her and the family during this unfortunate time. If you all know my son Eric and his wife Bonnie they have always been the couple to give everyone the shirt off their back, their last dollar everything. They are always helping others. Both of them are head strong and hard workers and this has taken a huge toll on them with not being able to work as they use to with multiple dr appointments and such. Medical bills piling up as well as everything thing else. We understand everyone is going through things but if you can at all help in any way we would greatly appreciate it.
