Hi, this is the former owner of Blue Mtn Creamery. After over a decade in business, having steered us through the hard times of Covid, I decided to retire and agreed to sell the business to a new owner in 2024. Unfortunately, the new owner had provided false information about himself and failed to honor his contract. We were left with massive unpaid obligations, a loan falsely taken out in our name, and thousands of dollars of unrepaid expenses. Later revelations uncovered by a journalist at KRDO have revealed just how many people he has dealt with in this way. Unfortunately, most of these people are unable to pursue justice against him, either because they lack the evidence or because it's too expensive. We eventually got a legal judgment against the is man for his misdeeds, many of which were very serious, causing great financial damage to us. Unfortunately, this has not resulted in any change in his behavior or, in fact, in any acknowledgement at all. We eventually had to drop our suit, due to the cost and because this guy claimed the business was closed and all the assets were gone. We recently discovered that he had started a new ice cream business in Monument, and now he's selling ice cream at a location in the Springs. As a result, we decided it was necessary to reopen our case against him. It is our desire to keep pressing forward and see to it that this man's actions are brought home to him and to ensure that he won't find it easy to do something like this again in Colorado. We have an excellent business law firm that has been handling the case. We don't like asking for help, but the process has drawn out so long and the bills keep piling up. If you know our story from the news stories, if you want to help us keep going after this guy, please consider contributing. Maybe you're an old customer who appreciated what we created and the special times you had at our store. Maybe you're someone who doesn't want to see this guy get away with all the damage he has done just because it's so expensive to bring someone to justice. All funds will be used to pay legal bills. Thank you for your time, your concern, your past patronage, for the memories, for your help, and God bless.
