Hi everyone My family and most of my friends are aware that in February 2002 (just before the first Covid lockdown), I was diagnosed with an incurable but manageable Lymphoma. A form of blood cancer. Lymphoma Action provided me with a safe environment where I could chat with people going through the same as me. Lymphoma is the 5th most common cancer but until diagnosed, I’d never heard of it. I want to give something back to this wonderful charity. I plan to take part in a fundraiser towards the end of September and will take part in a zip line challenge. This is not going to be an easy thing for me as I’m afraid of heights, however, they have been there for not only me but hundreds of people that have found themselves in the same situation as me. Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm hoping that by doing this challenge, I will be able to raise money in aid of Lymphoma Action. I am aware that most people have been hit financially in the current climate but every donation no matter how small, will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. More information about Lymphoma Action: Lymphoma Action provides free emotional support and information to people affected by lymphatic cancer (Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas) - the 5th most common cancer diagnosed in the UK.
