Hello everyone! *update on Biggie, scroll down to the bottom* A lot of you know Leigh and his beautiful German shepherd, Biggie. Well, Biggie needs your help as he needs to get surgery. Leigh asked me to put together a go fund me since he has no way of using the internet at the moment, and has no way of getting around. lets start from the beginning. Biggie had a cyst on the upper part of his eye and it was almost gone untill he accidentally got a cut over top of it… that’s when it’s gone all down hill. It has quickly made a big growth over his eye, and recently now covers his eye completely. I’m in touch with the vet hospital waves, where I will be taking him once we have enough funds to get the procedure done and all his aftercase covered. The money raised will go towards all vet bills, after surgery necessities, and any medication he may need. If there’s any money left over it will go towards some dog food and treats then I’ll pass the rest along to a charity. Anything helps, even a $1. I’m also planning on collecting bottles to help with his vet bills, let me know if you have any that needs to be picked up! thank you so much for helping! UPDATE: Aug 8th 2024 we made it into waves and the vets working all came together to take a look at him to see what the best steps going forward should be. Sadly, Biggie will have to lose his eye that the mass is covering. It’s not 100% until he has his CT scan but the vets were confident that’s what the outcome is going to be. They also said surgery should be within the next 10 days, and because they are so expensive I should look into a regular clinic. Once I have found somewhere that I can take him in immediately I will share that so people can donate thru the vet office aswell. We got quoted 4788.96$ to 7141.89$ and may vary from the estimate by 20% depending on the actual services performed.
