Life has recently dealt Beth and Van Crawford a mighty disheartening blow. My sister, Beth, has been diagnosed with stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer. She will be receiving her chemo treatments in Charleston, which is more than an hour away from their home in Georgetown, SC. They have a long, hard battle ahead of themselves. As many of you know, they own their own business but Van is the sole employee. When he can’t work, there is no income. Obviously, Van will be missing some work in the coming months due to caring for Beth. Our family has never reached out for help but we know Van and Beth are about to experience some dire circumstances and many have asked how they can help. Insurance only covers a portion of the extensive number of tests, treatments, and medications necessary to fight this battle. In addition, they will have gas, lodging, food and other expenses during their many trips to MUSC. I am asking if you would please find it in your heart to help Beth and Van during this heartbreaking time. Any amount will be helpful and most appreciated. We will be transparent during the battle and keep all of you updated to the best of our ability. We know we serve a mighty God who is the Great Physician. We trust and have faith in His ability and presence through this battle. Please pray with us for complete comfort, healing, and peace.
