update Nov 6 23. Anthony has been in the hospital for some time now but is doing better. Hopefully will be getting some rehab and hopefully get back on his feet a bit. He did manage to get out of bed and stand up for the first time in a while. We are all still praying and hopeful for further recovery. However, it is taking a toll on the family with all the expenses to travel to Vanderbilt and missed work. I am asking for anyone who can to help out with anything you feel led to do. Please share this and continue to pray for Anthony and this great family. God bless you all! update Sep 23: Anthony’s bloodwork has stabilized and numbers were good enough to begin chemo again. His weight is really down. He is at 174lbs now. He spent two weeks at Siskin’s for rehab. He can talk better and he is trying to build up strength to walk a greater distance and improve weakness. God has been good to them! Anthony has to have Protein shakes as he is not eating well which are pretty costly. He now has durable equipment for home. They have cost of gas/ meals and copay’s. Plus just day to day living expenses. The family is “eternally great full” for everyone that has donated. Please if you can continue to give and help support these needs. update: Anthony has been moved now to rehab and hopefully starting his path back to getting some strength. He is very positive and fighting. All the folks out there that has showed their love and shared their prayers are greatly appreciated. Please keep it up and keep it going. It is working. I appreciate it and the family certainly appreciates all you are doing. Update: Anthony is still very weak and in the hospital. There is some good news and they have started treatment to stop the bleeding hopefully and found that his esophagus was twisted so they stretched it and hopefully that will help with his eating. Thanks to every who has given so far. Needless to say the expenses will continue for a while. Update: Anthony has to go back to Nashville for more test and such. Past chemo is not working and started on a third chemo now. Also looking at other treatment options. They really need our support. Please help if you can. I am putting this out to help a great friend that I recognize as a brother. He has been struggling with Cancer for many years but needs a little help to ease the stress as he goes through some trying times with his battle. He has not done so well in the past several months but is doing a little better and hopeful that he will get back on his feet. He has several children that depend on him and his adorable wife is doing everything she can to keep things going while Anthony fights the good fight to recover. If you can help out with some finances that they are incurring it would be greatly appreciated. Every little bit will help and they will be grateful for your support!
