**UPDATE 7/19 - Stuart is headed to surgery this morning! Words can not explain the gratitude that has been shown during the first goal of this fundraiser & benefit! He has been able to make the initial downpayment towards the cost of the surgery and he is on a pathway towards a successful outcome after this unbelievable accident. There is still a long road to the 6 month healing and physical therapy process, but the journey has been much easier to begin with everyone's support. We can not those enough who have already donated. Please don't stop with the donations. Just the initial down-payment has been made. He will have bills coming in for the remainder of the surgery, including additional costs for continued medical care and physical therapy. Stuart Einsig has requested that I, along with Marty Good create this account in his time of need. On Monday, July 3rd he had a scaffolding accident which broke his fibula which also disconnected from the tibia. He is in need of extensive surgery. When the accident happened he was trauma flighted to Lakeland Regional and admitted for 3 days, in which the emergency team placed a temporary external fixator. Surgery is now needed to remove that external fixator, with addition of a complete open reduction to place an internal fixation on the right tibial plafond fracture and a fibula fixation. Stu is self employed and without medical insurance. He has the surgery scheduled for Wed 7/19, but without a $4500 down-payment paid by Monday 7/16, and an additional $6500 paid by Tuesday 7/17, the surgery will not happen. The down-payment must be paid before the surgeon and the hospital will keep him on the surgery schedule. The estimated recovery time is 6 months. The longer the surgery is postponed, the later it will be, that Stu can get back to work. The pain that Stu is feeling due this injury is unexplainable not to mention the stress that has come into play because of the financial challenges involved. He needs our help. Our first goal is to help get this down-payment raised so that he can find his way into the surgery room. Our second goal is to continue raising money so that he can complete the medical care needed to have a successful outcome after this injury. Our third goal is to help him with funding for daily expenses while he is down and unable to work.
