Hi everyone, we, friends, HS batchmates and fellow Sillimanians, are raising money for our very good friend Ella Cruspero Aspacio-Carabio who is surviving from cancer and is due for 6 cycles of chemo on November 2015. Would like to knock on your hearts for a simple donation, as we all know, battling against cancer is financially draining to anyone. We hope to raise funds to cover her chemo treatments in the next few months and hospital bills.  Every cent counts indeed! We can channel your donations through here at LFEBridge.com via credit or debit card.   Otherwise, you may choose other ways of sending your donations through the ff;Western UnionElla Lyn Aspacio CarabioDumaguete City, 6200 Neg. A year after, in 2012 it recurred as Stage 4 Metastatic CA with mets in my brain, lungs, bones and liver. Through the help of many friends, final diagnosis was made at Cook County Hospital in Chicago where I was admitted and had all diagnostic work ups after experiencing unusual body symptoms. I went home in the Philippines after the doctor told me I have only 2-3 months to live. Medical details and reports were brought in to & same treatment protocol was followed at Perpetual Succour Hospital Cancer Institute, Cebu City. I only completed 4 sessions of brain radiation in Chicago, and had the 10 sessions continued at PSH. A total of 14 brain radiations and 10 chemotherapy sessions at Perpetual Succour Hospital until 2013. From then on, I continued my maintenance treatments & monitored medical check ups at Perpetual Succour Hospital Cancer Institute. It has already part of my life's routine as a cancer to have all blood tests done monthly & scans/ultrasound every 2-3months as scheduled and monitored by my oncologist. This August, 2015 after my bone scan showed spine mets I proceeded to complete 20 sessions of bone radiation. And recently with my follow up CT scans and ultrasound, multiple hypo enhancing nodules or mass were seen in the right lobe of my liver. Now, I am recommended to have 6 cycles of chemotherapy for my liver mets. For that 3 years as a Cancer survivor, God is all my strength & forever be the Divine Master in this journey! With Him, I am so blessed and thankful for some friends who unendingly showed their support financially, emotionally & spiritually. And to my great husband who cared, loved & struggling to work hard for our finances. To God's glory!
