We are a group of students from Baxter College in Kidderminster who are taking part in an Operation Wallacea expedition to Madagascar in 2024. We are passionate about the environment and being proactive in supporting conservation and sustainability. Operation Wallacea is a biodiversity and conservation research organisation that runs projects around the world. We would be working alongside researchers in Madagascar collecting data to support projects which will ultimately help local communities and government to design and implement large scale conservation management strategies. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us and we are doing many fundraising activities to help fund part of the cost of getting us there. We will keep this page updated with our activities. So far we have conducted bake sales, bag packs and recycled clothes. In the coming months we will be walking across the length of the Malvern Hills litter picking, canoeing the canals in the local area freeing them from litter and other events that help to make our local environment a better place. If you can support our cause we would be extremely grateful for any donation. Many thanks in Advance - The Baxter College Operation Wallacea Fundraising Team!
