Hi, I’m Stephanie and I’m fundraising to help cover costs for a much needed bariatric surgery. I have struggled with weight my entire life. I’m now at a point where I desperately need to take my life back. I suffer from PCOS, which makes it harder to lose weight. I’m a type 2 diabetic on more medications than anyone should have to take. Diet and exercise are not cutting it. Nothing seems to work for me. I have never been a shy person but over the last year I have found myself becoming a different person, one I don’t care for. My mobility, balance, self esteem and social interactions have dwindled to a minimum. I am no longer comfortable in my own skin. I want to have this surgery to throw my diabetes into remission and get rid of all the medication. I need to be able to move again so I can enjoy time with my family and friends. Life is too short to not be happy. All funds raised will go towards the cost of surgery as well as cover pre and post-op appointments. I appreciate you taking the time to read my story.
