Hola a todos! Hoy mi papá y mi familia necesitamos de su colaboración y de su apoyo. Mi papá fue ingresado de emergencia al hospital en New York el pasado 19 de junio, tuvo que ser intervenido el mismo día por una infección en su cerebro, y durante esa primera semana tuvo varías cirugías para poder controlar la infección. Han sido 3 semanas muy fuertes, gracias a Dios ha recibido la mejor atención médica. Dada esta situación él no podrá regresar a Venezuela hasta que los Doctores logren controlar por completo la infección, y lo autoricen a volar. Esto implica que la etapa de recuperación debe hacerla aquí en US, es un tratamiento realmente costoso y son necesarios distintos medicamentos: antibióticos viales para seguir combatiendo la infección, anticoagulantes y anticonvulsivos dadas la cirugías que tuvo. Adicionalmente, se requieren de terapias para recuperar su fuerza y movilidad total. Es por esto que hoy les pedimos su ayuda. Quiero agradecerles por tanto apoyo, por cada oración estoy segura que han hecho que mi papi cada día esté mejor, recuperándose poquito a poquito. Hoy más que nunca me siento agradecida con Dios por permitirme seguir teniendo a mi papi con nosotros (los milagros si existen) ✨Dear friends! My dad and my family needs your help and collaboration. My dad had an emergency surgery on June 19th in NY, and during that week had a few more interventions to try to control the infection he has in his brain. This past 3 weeks has been very hard for all of us, thank god he has received the best medical care and treatment. Given his situation he cannot go back home ( Venezuela) soon, until the infection is controlled and the doctors allowe him to flight back, so he will start his recovery process and continue with the treatment here in the States. The treatment is quite expensive for us to cover and it implies very strong vial antibiotics, anticoagulants ( Blood thinners) and anticonvulsants given his surgeries. In addition, he will need to recover in full his movement and strength for that reason he will need physical therapy as well. My family and I would like to thank you for all your prayers, I am pretty sure those had help a lot on his recovery process. Today I am grateful because he is still with us
