My name is Kevin for two years now my daughter Avery and I have been dealing with a major traumatic event. I have sole custody of her. This is not easy, for two years I have struggled, her biological mother was arrested along with her paramour both are serving prison sentences, not enough if you ask me. I lost my place to live, car insurance and license as a result of loosing child support. The state says I make to much for help social security says bio mom not dead so I can’t get help that way. I have been working this whole time attending three different counseling sessions, going to court monthly, and having my life turned upside down by DCF for what her bio mom did. Some of you know the story some don’t. All I know is I need help and don’t know where else to ask. The money will be used to help with living situation, school clothes (she starts kindergarten soon), help getting my license situated. Avery has been my rock as I have been hers.
