As some of you may know by now, Ava Scheffler has been diagnosed with T-ALL (T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia). She is a very strong, feisty, and amazing 9-year-old with a fearless fight in her. At this time, the Scheffler family is adjusting to the diagnosis and learning what their new needs will be. Her parents and 5 siblings are her biggest cheerleaders and are remaining positive through every step of this journey. They are confident in her care team and doctors and know that she is getting the best care possible. While the family is reassured that this IS treatable, there are many uncertainties and rough roads that lie ahead. All money raised through this LFEBridge will be used towards medical care and treatments that are expected to last upwards of 2 years. Jen is taking off work indefinitely to be by Ava's side and provide her with all of the care that she needs at home.
