My 14 year old grand daughter has autism and currently has two goals in life : to feel safe and to have friends. Can you imagine starting everyday feeling like you are facing the world alone once you leave the loving comfort of your home? Feeling overwhelmed by the world around you and feeling like you have no one besides your family. Getting her an autism service dog didn't even cross her parents minds until they realized just how utterly overwhelmed and alone she felt. She is currently on waiting lists in Canada but they are two years long...too long for us to watch her suffer. We have found a reputable service dog trainer in the US who can train an autism service dog. A trained autism service dog will become my grand daughter's daily companion who will be able to:Provide safety, companionship and unconditional love. Provide a calming influence to reduce high anxiety in school and other social settingsProvide deep pressure, affection and a purpose Having an autism service dog join my grand daughters journey will be life changing! Please share
