Hi, I'm Nora. I'm disabled (cane user with severe chronic back and joint pain and severe chronic fatigue, plus some depression and anxiety). My daughter is marrying a wonderful man in October (I performed the handfasting in my parents' backyard, which is when the photo was taken), and I need a little support to get there. My lodging is already half paid for, but I'm going to need support from a friend (helping me do things that my disabilities make difficult), in addition to paying for the balance on the AirBnB ($1246.73) [paid as of 28 August!], I need to cover my train tickets (~$80, round trip from Jacksonville to Savannah and home again) [paid as of 28 August!],, transportation from and back to the train station (Lyft, estimating $50 for the rides from the station to the AirBnB and then back to the station when it's time to go home), transportation costs for my support person (estimating $300 to rent a car since her personal vehicle might not be up to the drive and $150 for fuel both ways) [covered as of 15 September!], and incidentals (groceries, etc, which I'm probably overestimating but better than running short of funds 150 miles from home). Obviously this isn't as earthshaking a cause as a lot of these fundraisers, but she is my only child and this is very likely her only wedding (the planning process has her a little frazzled right now).
