Bruce was critically injured on July 24th while working in a remote area outside of Terrace. Thankfully Bruce was supported and assisted through Terrace Search and Rescue as well as Mills Memorial Hospital in getting the medical care and attention he needed to survive. He was transported to Vancouver for more specialized care, with his partner Braylin, who is a local nurse and a great asset to Bruce. This accident has resulted in wrist fractures, a frontal epidural hematoma, a frontal temporal skull fracture, an orbital roof fracture extending to his sinus and fractures of his nasal arch and ethmoid cavity. Bruce returned to Terrace on August 1st and will continue to be monitored throughout his recovery which is estimated to be approximately 3 months. Any contributions you can make to assist Bruce in the cost associated with lost wages, and additional medical travel, and to alleviate the financial stress associated is so greatly appreciated.
