The Murrel family just discovered their youngest daughter, Aria (age 3), has B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) after an unexpected trip to the emergency room. While the doctors are hopeful it is treatable, they've been warned that the road ahead is long and weary and will affect them all - Aria, Kennedy (big sis), Kelsie (mom), and Russ (dad). Aria begins her first chemotherapy treatment right away (7/15/2024) but is expected to be in the hospital long-term throughout the next TWO years. Typically a dual-income family, Kelsie will be unable to work while navigating the new reality of this diagnosis, along with incessant hospital stays/surgeries/imaging/labs and treatment of their little girl, and Russ will also need additional time away from work beyond what's included in standard paid time off. A family facing a crisis such as this, specifically that of a toddler, should not have to worry about how they will cover this month's bills in addition to hospital bills. This will no doubt bring an undue challenge to their financial needs. We want to show the Murrel family what a wonderful community they have standing behind them - not just with our prayers and extended love (we highly encourage and ask for that too!), but also with our financial contributions to them during this time. I ask that you bless this family by any means possible and show them unceasing kindness in your giving. Every dollar raised will be beneficial. We appreciate you and every family member and friend who are here for Aria. Let's rally together and show them all the love that we can!
