Hi, I'm Tabitha and Joshua Fowler is my husband. As some of you may know Josh was struck by lightning in July of 2024 which started a roller coaster of medical issues for him. He has been dealing with numerous medical issues since then. Here lately they have gotten worse which has affected his quality of life and his day-to-day routines. As of late, he has been back and forth to the emergency rooms in Perry, Tallahassee and Gainesville with severe unknown pain among other issues. So far, one diagnosis is that his spleen is larger than what it is supposed to be and he has a possible traumatic brain injury-vestibular dysfunction (basically lightning fried that part). They are also wanting to do some tests on his liver as well. The spleen causes extreme pain throughout his abdomen, and chest which radiates up his shoulder and through his back. The chest and shoulder pains made us think it was heart-related, but thankfully his heart is healthy. The TBI-Vestibular dysfunction is still yet to be fully diagnosed and causes severe vertigo and dizziness that can lead to blacking out. We are facing a long road of tests, medications and procedures for all the issues he is facing. As of now, we have both used up all of our time at work and while I can work in between all the appointments and procedures (we don't let him drive due to dizziness and blacking out), Josh has not had a paycheck to help with bills and all the medical expenses that are now coming our way. We are asking for any help that you may give as Josh has a long road ahead of him to hopefully a full recovery. The bills and expenses won't stop coming and we're struggling right now just trying to pay for food, kid's daycare, lights and normal living expenses. Thanks again for any help you can give.
