As some of you may know, my newlywed best friends were both diagnosed with conditions that make starting a family biologically impossible without medical intervention. Their current results after undergoing three rounds of IVF make it unlikely that they can achieve their family goals without taking further steps. The medical complexities of their situation have necessitated time-sensitive action. Through it all Jules and Anna are trying to approach this situation, like all things in life, with intention, diligence, and humility. In the queer community, it is normal to expect that starting a family could look a lot of ways and the decisions of how, when, and what that is has always been deeply personal. This process has been humbling for them, to say the least. I have seen firsthand all of the ways our amazing community has wrapped around these two over the past year as they have navigated the realities of infertility (and other matters relating to their health). For people who have asked about ways to support I created this page (with consent). Taking this step is hugely vulnerable for them, and is not done without deep consideration. There is no concrete ask or obligation here, but an avenue for anyone who is moved to/capable of contributing. Thank you all again for your support.
