Anns journey On June 1st 2016 Ann had the biggest surgery of her life. She had been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. This is a very rare head and neck cancer that only 20% of the people get that have never used tobacco or alcohol. The surgery took 9 hours and left her with major scaring. She under went chemo and radiation to further kill any cancer not found at the time of surgery. Ann had many complications through this process, almost losing her life to an infection. We thank God that he kept her alive and brought her through all the obstacles she has faced. While Ann was going through all of her surgery and treatments all she wanted to do was be a blessing, and she was to so many people including doctors, nurses and other patients. Fast tract to today and the results of the radiation has had devastating affects on her jaw bone and teeth resulting in hopefully one last surgery. She will have to have all her teeth pulled. After she has undergone over 30 hyperbaric chamber treatments to help with the healing, she will then have surgery to remove the dead teeth. The problem is that the doctor they finally found doesn’t take their insurance. If they pay cash they will get a huge discount and the surgery will only cost 2900.00 which is significantly less than almost 7000.00. They need help trying to raise that amount or they will have to finance the 7000.00. Please pray about what you would be willing to help with. Any donations that come in that goes above what they need will be donated to charity. They don’t want anything for themselves. All they want is for Ann to finally be over this once and for all. Thank you and God Bless you.
