Hello, my name is Shelby Lazenby and I am creating a fundraiser for my Dad, Andy Lazenby. On July 9th 2024, my Mamaw and Papaw were informed that my dad was involved in an accident. He fell from a golf cart hitting his head on the concrete in his neighborhood and was rushed to the hospital. There, he was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and had to have life saving surgery, removing a part of his skull due to the swelling of his brain. His TBI is classified as severe. He is making great improvements every single day, however he will have a long road of physical, speech, respiratory, and occupational therapy ahead of him. Now, a little about my dad! He is a father to two children, Shelby and Trevor Lazenby, the son of Sarah and Tim Lazenby, and a friend to so many. He is known for his sense of humor, kindness, and ability to make everyone he meets feel welcomed. He is a lover of all animals and has a small dog named Olive that he adores and takes everywhere with him. He flys drones in his free time, spends time with his friends in his neighborhood, and helps his parents as much as possible. The funds raised will be used solely for my dad, Andy. This includes his medical bills and his personal bills when needed since he will be out of work. Anything is very much appreciated.
