Last year, Andrew's world was turned upside down when his son, Onyango, survived a devastating car accident that tragically claimed the lives of four other individuals. Despite undergoing several back operations, Onyango's recovery has been fraught with complications, leaving him now as a paraplegic. The impact of this tragic event has been immense on Andrew and his entire family. As a dedicated father, Andrew has been tirelessly supporting Onyango's medical needs, pouring all his resources into ensuring the best possible care. However, the emotional and financial toll on the family has been overwhelming. Unfortunately, due to the intensive care Onyango requires, Andrew is unable to return to work on a full time basis. As the sole provider for his family, this has put an immense strain on their finances. Bills are mounting, and the need for ongoing medical care and specialised equipment for Onyango remains a constant concern. Andrew has been an integral part of our team, consistently showing dedication, reliability, and compassion to all those around him. It's our turn now to rally together and support him during this difficult chapter of his life. With this LFEBridge campaign, we aim to alleviate some of the financial burdens that Andrew and his family are facing. The funds raised will go directly towards: 1. Medical expenses for ongoing treatments, therapies, and specialised care for Onyango. 2. Essential household expenses and bills to ensure stability for the family during this challenging time. 3. Necessary modifications to their home and the purchase of adaptive equipment to accommodate Onyango's new needs. 4. Any additional costs related to Onyango's care and wellbeing that insurance may not cover.
