Supporting the Anderson Firefighter Charity and Scholarship Fund enables us to assist our own members, retirees, our families, and many other organizations in times of need. Firefighters are not immune to emergencies, illnesses, and injuries even though we respond to all of these to provide help, sometimes we can use assistance as well. Anderson Firefighters, for the first time, will be awarding scholarships to our own children wishing to seek higher education. Portions of every donation will help us achieve our goal of awarding $500 scholarships to every qualifying dependent of a Local 1262 member each year of their college career up to 4 years. Please consider a donation to our Charity and Scholarship Fund to ensure we can be there for our own and continue supporting the great community charitable causes we partner with every year.
