Keegan's New Bike Fundraiser: An adaptive bike for her 6th birthday Hi there! We're on a mission to make Keegan’s 6th birthday extra special. Please help us bring smiles and joy by joining our fundraiser to get an adaptive bike for her. Keegan is the happiest little girl with an unstoppable drive to do all of the things her doctors said she would never do. Though she faces challenges, she continues to light up our lives with her infectious smile, love for music and obsession with numbers. She's our whole world. Keegan is not capable of riding a traditional bike. We were very excited when we found an adaptive bike that will allow her to experience the joy and freedom of riding. This incredible piece of medical equipment comes equipped with straps for the pedals to secure her feet, chest straps for added support and safety, a handle for us to push the bike, movable handlebars to make it easy to get her on and off the bike, a parent-controlled handbrake, cables to keep her feet level while pedalling, and the option to switch off automatic pedalling when needed. With your help, we can make this dream bike a reality for Keegan. The Perfect Fit: Freedom Concepts DCP16 adaptive bike. This will grow with Keegan until she's 14. The bike cost is $5955. Therefore we are reaching out to friends and family who may want to contribute to this amazing birthday gift for Keegan. With your continued support we have raised over $24,000 for SickKids. This year we are hoping to redirect that incredible generosity to Keegan’s new bike for her birthday. With every pedal, this bike will strengthen her core, legs, and arms, giving her the chance to experience the joys of exploring her neighbourhood alongside her family and friends. The bike is designed to adapt and grow with Keegan, ensuring it will be by her side until she's fourteen. Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to providing Keegan with the freedom, joy, and independence she so deserves. Please help us make Keegan’s Ride a reality. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Breanne (and Anil and Keegan!) xo Keegan just graduated from SK :)
