Amber has recently been diagnosed with hurthle cell carcinoma in the thyroid. It's a rare aggressive cancer but they caught it early on so they are optimistic they can eradicate it soon. This money would go towards her copayments for her second surgery of the summer and medications she needs afterwards. She has not been able to work much this summer due to her many appointments and surgeries.
