Hello! first of all thanks for taking the time to read this as I know how busy people are and how common these pages have become. As many of you know my wife Mel works for a charity and whilst working there met Martyn Barrow through a professional contact. He became an amazing support to Mel and the team and really supported them in many ways. Always there to rely on always providing help and support and more importantly adding laughter and fun to any challenge. Martyn and his wife Anna became friends of ours and Martyn is also now a colleague of Mel’s. Earlier this year, Martyn’s beautiful wife Anna had the most unfair news ever that she was being diagnosed with the awful disease motor neurone disease! As you will know there currently is no cure for this. I am not exaggerating when I say the Burrows are one amazing family that will do anything for anyone. I’ve never come across such positive people who do not deserve this! so I have decided to run 10K to raise funds to give to this lovely young family to make as many memories as they can with their 3 beautiful girls. I know times are difficult financially but every single penny counts so please if you can, donate to my 10k challenge - it’s been a while and I need to dig out the trainers !!!! Mel and her boss are also in the process of arranging a race night ( that I won’t be running in lol )
