Hi, My name is Michele. I'm friends with and work for Tony and Kelsea Aguilera. Their 4-year-old son, Juan, was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (also called ALL or acute lymphocytic leukemia), which is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow, in February 2024. He had been sick off and on for several months leading up to his diagnosis - including requiring emergency ventilation and Life Flight helicopter transport to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital last fall. Little Juanito had undergone more medical procedures than a lot of us have - lumbar punctures, x-rays, bone marrow biopsies, countless blood tests, anesthesia and sedation, and lots of days and nights in the hospital. That’s a lot for a little guy to deal with! These tests continue and his treatment currently consists of near-daily visits to Children’s for intravenous chemotherapy. Right now, he is at the hospital for a 5-day mega-course. Eventually, he should be able to switch to an oral medication which will then be continued for a few years. His prognosis is good, but there is a long road ahead for the Aguilera family. He's so smart and strong, and he loves his cousins, the color blue and Paw Patrol (Chase especially!). Everyone we know is wishing and praying for this cheeky little guy to beat this and feel like himself again! Nobody wants to ask for help… but your help is greatly needed (and appreciated) if you are able. They are doing all they can to keep afloat during this terrifying time - alternating days taking Juanito to the hospital for treatment and working odd hours around the clock or trading work days to keep the business running…all while trying to maintain a healthy and happy home for their children. This is an extremely stressful time for this family and if we can help ease their burden in this aspect, even slightly, they will all be so much better for it. The goal for this Go Fund Me is to raise money to help cover medical expenses. Thank you for reading and thank you for sharing!! If you have any questions for me, please feel free to call or email me. Michele
