Meet Dale. Often referred to as “Damn it Dale!” Dale is our loveable, loyal … and somewhat freakish pet, whom we love more than anything. We found Dale when he was just weeks old being sold on the street by a homeless person along with a full litter of Dale’s brothers and sisters. It was clear that he wasn’t getting the attention he needed as a young puppy, and we wished we could adopt them all, but we could only take on one, and we chose Dale – the dog who was at the time the most adorable puppy in the group. As Dale grew, let’s just say age didn’t quite treat him as well as it could have. While we still think he’s beautiful, he’s not going to be winning any beauty pageants any time soon. But he’s our little monster Dog, and we love him.Dale is full of energy, and loves nothing more than to run in the park behind our house for hours. Recently, during one of our “fetch” sessions, we realized Dale was limping pretty badly. It didn’t go away for days, so we took him to the vet and got the diagnosis. Dale had torn his ACL, and he needs a $3,000 surgery.Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know Dale is chompin at the bit to get back into that park and chase down those tennis balls with reckless abandon!
