Hi! My name is Kaitlyn Menichetti, and I have recently graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Psychology. At the beginning of my senior year of college I was set on pursuing a career in the medical field, but as the year progressed I felt God tugging on my heart to open up to the idea of ministry. I had no idea what to expect. I had a lot of fears about letting go of my plans and what I’ve only known–a future as a physician assistant. But as I began to reflect on my future, I realized I never let God have a say in it. I told God what I was going to do and asked Him to bless it rather than allowing Him to guide my steps and faithfully stepping into where He was calling me to. Once my eyes were opened, I let God take control. I felt Him pulling my heart toward ministry so passionately I couldn’t see myself pursuing anything else. I now have the opportunity to partner with Vintage Church LA in Santa Monica as a Vintage Ministry Intern for 10 months. The internship provides hands-on ministry experience, and spiritual formation, teaching and leadership by fellow Christian leaders. I am excited to grow in my awareness of the beauty and reality of God, and be immersed in a church that is on mission to make His name known. I cannot wait to start working with the Belong Team at Vintage Church to launch the College + Young Adults Ministry this fall of 2024. I am sharing this with you because I want to invite you as I build a team of people to partner with me and my work with Vintage Church LA: I would love your support with prayer – that the Holy Spirit would work in myself and the peers that I am preparing to serve in the launch of the College and Young Adults ministry, the congregation at Vintage Church, and the city of Los Angeles. I also ask that you begin to prayerfully consider supporting my work to devote myself full-time to this ministry at Vintage Church. My fundraising goal for this 10 month internship is $10,000 to help cover living expenses in Los Angeles. Your donations are greatly appreciated, and I look forward to seeing all the work God is going to do over this next year!
