Journey to Heal Asha: Supporting a Single Mom's Fight for her Daughter's Future Hello everyone, We would like to introduce you to Asuka, a fiercely strong single mother of two, and her beautiful, vibrant daughter, Asha, who are facing an unimaginable journey together. Their love story is one of resilience and courage, but now they need our help more than ever. Life often teaches us lessons through adversity, shaping our character in profound ways. Yet, even the strongest among us can find themselves at the mercy of circumstances that test us beyond our limits. Asuka and Asha are living through such a moment. A month ago, Asha, a bright and inspiring 21-year-old, was involved in a devastating car accident that left her a quadriplegic with incomplete spinal cord injury, paralyzed from the chest down. Asha, who has always been an emblem of joy and positivity, is now bound to a wheelchair, her world drastically changed in an instant. The accident took place in Western Canada, far from her mother, Asuka, who lives and works in Montreal. Asuka is not just a mother. She is a provider, caregiver, and the backbone of her family. Every week, Asuka travels back and forth across Canada to stand by her daughter's side, offering Asha the emotional support she needs while continuing to provide for their family. The financial burden of medical bills, rehabilitation services, travel costs, and the strain of maintaining her job back in Montreal is daunting, to say the least. But we can change that. We can ease Asuka's burden and make Asha's journey a little easier. We are setting up this LFEBridge campaign to raise funds to cover Asha's medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and to support Asuka's travel expenses.
