Good Afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Ashlee Foster, the President of the Youth Football & Cheerleading Club the East Orlando Preds. My heart hurts while typing this but tragedy struck home yesterday afternoon. One of our long-time families unfortunately is dealing with the unthinkable, the suicide attempt of the head of the household. The attempt was unsuccessful but unfortunately, his life will never be the same as he will need a facial reconstruction. As you might imagine, the multiple surgeries ahead, recovery time, and therapy for the WHOLE family without half of the household income will hurt big time financially. This is one of the sweetest families with both parents being veterans & two kind-hearted children. They are constantly volunteering with the club over the year & always are willing to lend an extra hand without even asking if we need help. We will keep our Pred athlete close to us & guide him through these very dark & confusing times ahead of him but we are asking for financial help for Mom as she now is cutting it even more thin than before. The amazing thing about football is afterwhile you become more than a team, you become family. And family always steps up in time of need. One of ours is hurting in more ways than one so now it's our time to lend them a hand. Any amount is greatly appreciated & all the prayers will not go unheard. I want to take a moment & say that nobody is alone, if anyone is feeling overwhelmed, sad, mad etc, please reach out, we are here to help, listen, hug or anything that you might need.
