Many of you may be aware that Shannon has been admitted into the hospital again, this time to dissolve a blood clot that was discovered during one of countless routine visits to her Nephrologist. They were removing a collapsed port previously used for Shannon's dialysis. During my visit with Shannon in the hospital, I learned that she has been battling kidney failure, the fight of her life for the last six years. She certainly doesn't look like what she's been through, Glory! To see the countless scars on her neck, arms, chest and legs where veins have collapsed and are no longer open to receive her dialysis treatments necessary to sustain her life, truly hit home for me. Join me in the willful execution of moving "A Kidney for Shannon" forward. God said He would give us the desires of our hearts according to His will. Let's help Shannon live the quality of life she deserves. Our goal is to get Shannon to the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, located in Columbus Ohio and home to one of the largest kidney transplant programs in the country. Your donation can help Shannon get there. Please consider a donation today.
