I am 40 years old, and a year ago, I suffered a Cardiovascular Accident, which caused intense chest pain and significantly elevated blood pressure and heart rate. This accident occurred while I was driving my 7-year-old son, Daniel Andrés, home from school. I remember at that moment he said to me, "Dad, teach me how to drive, and I'll take you to the doctor." I urgently went to an outpatient clinic, and I am deeply grateful for the care they provided. Since then, my quality of life has changed. I started experiencing Heart Failure and retaining fluid in my feet, but it didn't stop me from working. Even with the medication I'm taking to relieve the symptoms, I'm dealing with fatigue and difficulty breathing, making it hard for me to breathe normally. For the fourth time, I visited the doctor's office with my wife and life partner, to whom I am thankful for their unwavering support. On this occasion, the Cardiovascular Surgeon Specialist and their medical team gave us a definitive diagnosis, stating that a Surgical Intervention is necessary to correct this situation. In medical terms, the diagnosis is a CARDIOPATHY DEMONSTRATED BY ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY, SPECIFICALLY A PERFORATION OF THE SINUS OF VALSALVA IN THE RIGHT VENTRICLE WITH HEMODYNAMIC REPERCUSSION AND STRUCTURAL SEQUELAE IN BOTH VENTRICLES. I am currently receiving treatment in Caracas, Venezuela, and we are relying on your goodwill to help us raise the required amount of ($36,000) to proceed with the operation. We do not possess the necessary funds, so we have initiated this campaign and sought assistance from all the foundations in my home country, as well as individuals and companies willing to support us. I will forever be grateful to my parents, wife, sister, cousins, uncles, and friends who have never abandoned me at any moment, and to those who have extended their helping hand to us. Tengo 40 años de edad y hace un año sufrí un Accidente Cardiovascular, en el cual presenté un dolor intenso en el pecho y valores muy elevados de tensión y frecuencia cardiaca. Este accidente ocurrió mientras buscaba a mi hijo Daniel Andrés, de 7 años, en el colegio. Recuerdo que en ese momento me dijo: "Papá, enséñame a manejar y yo te llevo al médico". Acudí de emergencia a un ambulatorio, a quienes les agradezco de todo corazón la atención brindada. A partir de ese momento, mi calidad de vida cambió. Comencé a sufrir de Insuficiencia Cardiaca y a retener líquido en mis pies, pero eso no me impidió seguir trabajando. A pesar de los medicamentos que estoy tomando para aliviar los síntomas, en la actualidad el cansancio y la falta de aire me impiden respirar normalmente. Regresé a consulta médica por cuarta vez con mi esposa y compañera de vida, a quien le doy las gracias por estar a mi lado en todo momento. En esta oportunidad, el Especialista Cirujano Cardiovascular y su equipo médico nos dieron el diagnóstico definitivo con la noticia de que debían realizar una Intervención Quirúrgica para corregir esta situación. El diagnóstico en términos médicos es una CARDIOPATÍA DEMOSTRADA POR ECOCARDIOGRAFÍA, DEL TIPO DE PERFORACIÓN DEL SENO DE VALSALVA EN EL VENTRÍCULO DERECHO CON REPERCUSIÓN HEMODINÁMICA Y SECUELAS ESTRUCTURALES EN AMBOS VENTRÍCULOS. Actualmente estoy siendo tratado en Caracas, Venezuela, y debemos acudir a su buena voluntad para que nos ayuden a recaudar el monto de ($36.000) para poder llevar a cabo la operación. Nosotros no contamos con la cantidad de dinero necesaria, por lo que hemos iniciado esta campaña y solicitado ayuda en todas las fundaciones del país, así como a personas y empresas que deseen apoyarnos.
