Hello Everyone, my name is Manny and I’m here on behalf of someone that a lot of people call a friend, a mentor, a great medic, and a person I call a brother.I’ve known Baron Johnson for almost a Decade. From the day I met him I knew he was a friend I wanted in my life. Over the years of us working together and being around our families, he has grown to be my brother. All who know him know he brings smiles to all of our faces through his great personality. He has always been one to lend a hand to those in need many time. Those who know his story know that this has been a tough road for him since he started his career. When all odds were against him he proved to us that failure was not an option. We watched him fight not only to work as a MVO, but through every obstacle in his way to become a EMT. He made us all proud to see him achieve his dream. Then went on to become a paramedic. A great one at that. Unfortunately at this time Baron is faced with another challenge that stemmed from defending himself and his partner from what could have been their demise and he can not win alone. Due to his situation that abruptly stopped him from working, He has used every single dollar he had to keep his family afloat. He and his family are currently facing eviction. He has until 8/31 to come up with 8k to keep his home. On behalf of me I’m asking for everyone to pitch in and help our brother out. What has happened to him could have been any one of us and as you have seen with his Mt. Sinai colleague It did happen to someone else . Please, Help me bring back that smile and sense of humor we all love about Baron.
