Hello, my name is Venesa Gomez, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. At the beginning of the year, my son Luca and I were forced to move from where we were staying. We didn't have anywhere else to go so he and I got an apartment together. We were not prepared to take on the expenses of living on our own. Because we were not prepared, we fell behind on monthly bills, including my health insurance. Not only this but as the months went by our bank accounts were compromised, I ended up getting pretty sick and missed out on work for a week, then my oldest cat "Billie Kitty" got very sick and needed to be put down. (A close friend of mine was able to pay that expense but my cat still needs to be cremated) I now have my best friend staying with me because she is homeless (going through divorce, no money at all, no job due to illness, no car). Also, my mother is bouncing back and forth between my apartment and my brother's apartment because she had to get out of the living situation she was in due to family issues. Funds received will be used to help my family and I with food, toiletries, get me back on track, and finally cremate Billie Kitty.
