DJ Odiaka and Delgado have been throwing the Fresh Jamz party for the past 15 years. Fresh Jamz celebrates the work of the socially conscious good folks of Oakland: teachers, educators, non-profiters, public defenders, artists and more. For July, we're celebrating in the sun. Now who doesn't love a fun, family friendly, summer party at beautiful Brooklyn Basin? We want to provide a space for folks to build upon the positive energy of Oakland. Throwing a large scale party at Brooklyn Basin requires costly permits and of course, food, drinks, and DJs. This is where we need your community spirit and partnership. Chipping in a few bucks will help cover the cost for all of these essential party items.
