In late January of 2016, three girls from Aquinas Catholic College will be volunteering in Port Vila, Vanautu. Mikaela, Abriana and Jacqui of Year 12 are trying to raise funds to donate resources to the local villages. They will be Assisting in Cyclone Pam relief by re-building damaged properties and schools, distributing much needed supplies and teaching english to young Vanuatu children.Your donations will help many people recover from this devastion. Money raised will be used to provide the community with first aid equipment, school supplies and building materials. These supplies would assist in re-establishing the resources needed by the Vanuatu people. Many affected lost their source of income, their houses and even their education. Their lives have been greatly affected and they are in desperate need of support. We are so lucky to live in a country where we can get an education, have three meals of food each day and a house to come home to. Many Vanuatu people live in poverty and find it hard to get a stable job which provides for their whole family. Our goal is to raise $2200 but every donation counts no matter how big or small. Anything that you can give will be greatly appreciated and will certainly make a difference."The future depends on what you do today" -Gandhi
