Dear friends of the late Vincent Flynn. It is with great sadness that we received the news of the passing of Vince on 3rd July 2024. Vince passed away peacefully at his home in Bayswater, Perth WA surrounded by family. Vince was known and adored by so many, and he touched the hearts of everyone he met with his courageous smile, so young at heart. Vince loved to be part of the Irish community and especially in JB O’Reilly’s where he was known by everyone. Vince always showed up in his suit, and at times his top hat. Vince was happy when he was amongst the young and felt part of our community here. Although his years were spent in Perth, he was a true Mayo man who hailed from Cong, Co Mayo and would support his county adding his Mayo jersey to his attire, so proud of his roots. The family, along with the Irish Community are absolutely devastated by his passing and as a community would like to support the family with some financial assistance to ease the loss of one of the rarest gentlemen, a Perth legend and life and soul of any Irish event or party. All donations will be greatly appreciated and will assist with all costs to give Vince the send off he deserves. Vincent’s funeral service will be held at St Joseph Catholic Church, 19 Hamilton Street in Bassendean, WA 6054 on Wednesday the 26th of July 2024 at 2:00pm. Everyone is welcome to attend a celebration of his life in Jb O’Reilly’s, 99 Cambridge Street, West Leederville. WA 6006 following the funeral service to raise a glass of Guinness for our dear friend and to tell stories about his life. Thank you and in the words of Vince “Slainte”
