Hi, my name is Natalie and I am making an urgent plea to raise money to save my daughters dog Sheba. Sheba had a tough start in life being puppy farmed until she was rescued by my daughter and found her forever home as a very much loved family dog. She initially lived with their other dog Coco who was sadly put to sleep at just 18 months old last August after she started having seizures. Sheba's life changed on Thursday 6th July 2024 when some people tried to steal her. In her panic she ran into the road and was hit by a truck driving at speed. The resulting impact has left Sheba in need of a total hip replacement which the animal hospital has outlined will cost £8200 which we cant afford. If we don't urgently raise the money in the next week, Sheba will have to be put to sleep. I am urgently pleading for help to avoid my daughter and her young boys going through the trauma of losing 2 beautiful dogs in the space of a year. Sheba is the most beautiful and loving dog who fills her little family with so much love and joy and the idea of losing her is too much to bear. Please, please help us to keep her as part of the family. Any donation will be very much appreciated to try and keep her beautiful soul on this planet with her family. Update 11th July 2024 Thank you all so much for your unbelievable support. Sheba has been seen again by the Orthopaedic Team and they have suggested that she undergo a different procedure which involves removing the fractured bone at the top of her hip. This is cheaper procedure and so we have reduced the target amount. It will involve more physio afterwards but hopefully it will make it more achievable.
