As of today 8/8/2024 7:40 pm central time.  The goal for the fundraiser is $12,800 and this is going to cover her postop care for the wound changing and possibly one more surgical procedure . Hello there my name is Lily, and this sweet little girl was found in the outskirts of Dallas County here in Texas. She was found wandering alone and limping this past Sunday. The veterinarian is not sure what exactly bit her on the legs, but she is starting to have necrotizing tissue on her left hind leg and they are recommending amputation. We are thinking either she was a bit by some type of venomous snake or spider.  The amount of dead tissue that is present has completely taken over her legs.  The front looks like it can be saved, but it’s going to take a lot of treatment and a lot of dedication on our part. We are willing and more than happy to take care of this beautiful little girl and she does not deserve to be dumped out like trash. She was taken to a veterinary clinic here in the Dallas area this afternoon. Which today is August 2 of 2024. They sent us home with a lot of medication. She was given several injections and also wound cleansers that we have to do here at home for her.  We are in dire need to raise funds for the amputations and post op care for wound care and dressing changes.  This will have to be done by a veterinarian. We have been doing cat rescue for over 25 years and have been doing this all alone. We could not leave her on the side of the highway abandoned by herself. We felt the need to bring her home.  If you can, please find it in your heart to share this go fund me, all funds will go towards her care. We are praying it will only be one amputation, we will not know for sure until the debridements are done.  This will done on all FOUR legs.    Upon exams from surgeon today Monday 7th, treatment plan has changed.  The veterinarian said that two things that her on her side are that she is young in age and she has not stopped eating so that is definitely a blessing. She has a huge will to LIVE!! Again, no amount is too small, everything everything is so so appreciated. GOD BLESS YOU AND HIS CREATURES!!! Please help us continue helping needy, abandoned, unloved, and dumped animals. Our love for animals runs deep.
